Why have we created this website?
Firstly as a legacy to Luke…
We want all of Luke’s family and friends to be able to access their memories of Luke via this website.
To remember the good times, the laughter, the parties, holidays, festivals and those dark moments
when we knew that Luke was suffering.
Secondly to urge everyone to remember that there is hope and help and life is worth living
As a parent you never expect to lose your child.
You never expect to wake up one day and realise that your only child is gone forever and that you will never see them again. As a parent you want to try and protect your child, to find a solution to their problems and to always keep them safe.
We didn’t manage to do that for our son, but we believe that life is precious and is worth living for.
We want as many people in the world to get to know our son through this web page, we want you to hear his story, to use his story to help you through any pain that you are suffering.
We want to campaign for change…
The services provided to our young people are inadequate. Mental health is an issue that affects so
many people and yet the support especially young people require isn’t available.
We want to stop this happening.
Every person should be able to access appropriate, adequate and timely care.
We want you to support the current campaign by CALM calling for the government to address the issue of male suicide
